Amy is a chartered director with the NZ Institute of Directors and has co-managed WSM Group with Nick since 2007. Amy is the non-clinical half of the Managing Director partnership and has a Masters Degree in Modern History and Politics from the University of London.
Prior to emigrating to NZ, Amy started her career in health management on the BUPA graduate scheme, working in finance, operations, marketing and HR across the BUPA portfolio of hospitals, sports medicine, wellness clinics and aged residential care facilities. Having early career experience in a large not for profit had a significant impact on Amy’s outlook that healthcare leaders should always have people at the centre of decision making, and that is still a guiding value of WSM Group today.
