Fatima is an experienced Occupational Therapist with over 20 years of clinical practice across New Zealand and South Africa. She brings a strong background in paediatrics, concussion rehabilitation, and ACC pain management, with a passion for helping clients of all ages rebuild function and confidence in their daily lives.
Her experience spans working with Te Whatu Ora’s Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, regional inpatient and community teams, and ACC-funded concussion and pain programmes. Fatima supports her clients through evidence-based rehabilitation that integrates her training in sensory modulation, DBT, CBT, and ACT-informed approaches.
She takes a holistic and collaborative approach to care. Recognising the unique physical, cognitive, and emotional needs of each person. And works closely with families, schools, and multidisciplinary teams to support sustainable recovery and wellbeing.
